Lambs Gap Animal Hospital in Mechanicsburg, PA is looking for a full-time veterinarian to join our team. LGAH has proudly served our community in Central Pennsylvania since 1995. We see companion pets and exotics in our recently expanded and renovated space.
About us:
We support fear free and low stress handling methods.
Our doctors are supported by long-term and highly skilled technicians and support staff.
We help provide care for local rescues such as Worthy Tails Animal Rescue and Furry Friends Network.
We also provide veterinary care for Mechanicsburg Police K9 Officer, Marc.
Our facility:
We are equipped with digital radiology (including dental), ultrasound, and full IDEXX in-house laboratory.
Our spacious facility offers five examination rooms, so each doctor can have their own personalized space.
We also have a dedicated room for end-of-life care with a separate entrance.
The position:
Our 4 doctors have years of experience (varying from 6 to 27 years) and are happy to mentor, so new grads are welcome!
A strong interest in surgery or dentistry is a plus, but not required.
We want our doctors to enjoy their job and find their niche!
All of our staff have a set schedule to promote work-life balance.
The schedule is flexible so that you can work 4 longer days to have a day off during the week, or work 5 shorter shifts, if preferred.
The position includes alternating Saturday morning shifts.
There are no on-call shifts, holiday shifts, or overnight hours as we refer emergency cases to our local ER facilities.
