An Architectural Project Architect is responsible for implementing complex architectural projects, including Design, Construction Documents, Permitting, Bidding, and Construction Administration. The Project Architect should be capable of running a large-sized project or series of medium projects and can resolve technical issues/answer questions. The individual will Initiate and direct coordination with engineering disciplines, runs kickoff meetings, and performs in-depth architectural and engineering coordination quality control checks. Supervises and ensures team members are trained and conducts regular performance reviews. The individual may also participate in minor field assistance with CA.
You Have:
An active architectural license
A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a professional office
A complete understanding of building construction methods and techniques as well as the major model codes.
Proficiency in Revit
You Will:
Handle cost estimating, signing & sealing, and produce design, construction documents, and specifications.
Assist Architect I in all responsibilities delineated in their Job Descriptions.
Oversee Production of Construction Documents for multiple projects, and resolves design issues/answer questions.
Assists PM in setting scope and budget.
Assists client's interests in public hearings & meetings.
Assists in proposal preparation, along with preparation and presentation of design drawings.
Analyze client problems/problem-solving.
Manage the permitting process/response to comments, along with bidding procedures.
Makes presentations to clients/develop design solutions.
Coordinate Peer review and QC of documents.
Perform in-depth QC review of documents.
