Responsibilities
Manager of Emergency Department is responsible for the day to day management and coordination of all activities in the Emergency Department.
- Supervises and monitors performance of the Emergency Department staff.
- Interacts with the physicians, hospital staff, outside agencies, patients and patients families/significant other(s) to provide comprehensive care.
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience
Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary.Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.PALS upon hire and maintain current.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.Centinela Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $108,388.80 to $164,174.40 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
