**Responsibilities:**

- Assist School Social Workers in conducting individual and group counseling sessions to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns impacting students' academic performance and overall well-being.

- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel to develop and implement strategies for supporting students' social and emotional development within the school environment.

- Provide support during crisis intervention and critical incidents, under the supervision of licensed professionals.

- Assist in conducting assessments and screenings to identify students' needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.

- Support advocacy efforts for students' rights and access to resources, including mental health services and community supports.

- Participate in workshops, presentations, and trainings for students, families, and school staff on topics related to mental health, conflict resolution, and social skills development.

- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions, progress notes, and service delivery.

Requirements

- Enrolled in a Master's degree program in Social Work from an accredited institution.

- Eligible for internship placement as required by your academic program.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for working with children and families.

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Commitment to cultural competence, equity, and social justice in working with diverse populations.
