This is a full time position/ 40 hours per week, flexible schedule. Rotating weekends and holidays. Additional pay for On-call.

Angell Animal Medical Center is looking for a  certified vet technician or experienced vet assistant to join our skilled anesthesia team. We have a  $10,000 sign on bonus for Veterinary Technicians and experienced Assistants hired into our Anesthesia Department at Angell!

Angell serves the greater Boston and scenic New England area as a primary care facility, a 24-hour emergency hospital, and as a tertiary referral center.

OUR ANESTHESIA DEPARTMENT:

With 3 board certified anesthesiologist, 4 board certified surgeons and 3 resident surgeons, 7 surgical suites, state-of the art monitoring and surgical equipment, this position is perfect for the certified technician who wants to be working in an innovative and challenging environment working alongside the best veterinary doctors in the country.

Required

Associates or better in Veterinary Technology or related field.

Experience

Required

Applicants must have technical skills including, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, intubation, anesthesia, CPR procedures.
1 year:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant with strong experience in anesthesia.

Preferred

Work experience in a fast-paced, multi-veterinarian hospital, emergency/referral practice or veterinary teaching hospital is preferred.
