Discipline: Speech Language Pathologist ( SLP )

Location: Oak Park, IL

Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours per week

Setting: School Based – 2 Classrooms, about 18 students Pre-K – 5th Grade

Start Date: Summer Session(ESY), option for renewal for 2024 - 2035 School Year

We are currently looking for a PASSIONATE full time Speech Language Pathologist to fill a summer sessional vacancy. 


This position will guarantee the candidate full time hour, with placement opportunities within the school district, dependent upon performance once the assignment is complete.


The SLP will be responsible for planning and preparing Elementary students individualized education plans. We are looking for someone who can work well with parents and other staff members to help formulate plans that will effectively diagnose and treat speech delays on the caseload. The SLP will also be required to attend Professional Development classes that will be conducted by the school district.


Requirements

·Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders

·CFY's are encouraged to apply and will be considered (supervisor provided)

·Must have the ability to apply for a SLP license in the state of Illinois; license reimbursement available.

·Must hold or be eligible to apply for an ASHA certification

·PEL certification required before the beginning of the assignment
