Meyer Utility Structures is currently looking to hire 2nd shift Machine Operators for our plant located in Hager City WI. As a Machine Operator you will set up and operate machines, work with various heavy machinery, power hand tools and may use blueprints, make adjustments for materials used, verify dimensional requirements, and transfer materials to storage areas.

Schedule: 2nd shift - Mon- Fri 2:45 pm – 12:45 am, Fridays are mandatory overtime, between 8 to 10hr.
Wage range: 23.50 – 28.50 with shift differential pay – additional $1.00 per hour.
What You’ll Do:
• Work with various heavy machinery, power hand tools and equipment • Form and or cut materials into predesignated shapes and sizes, working with sheet metal, various structural materials, forming, drilling, seaming,
• Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely
• Troubleshoot equipment and make basic adjustments, following all OSHA pre-checks and inspections
• Make general decisions as to quality, tolerances, and operation sequence
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• Other job duties as assigned
What You’ll Need:
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in operating/welding fabrication shop, metals shop, using - heavy power tools to cut press, drill, basic welding, fabrication, light industrial, industrial, cnc, melt shop, machining, overhead cranes, driving/operating medium to heavy equipment
• Ability to proficiently read blueprints and verify dimensional requirements
• The ability to maintain reliable and predictable good attendance
• The ability to stand throughout the day, and climb on/off equipment, and lift materials in excess of 50 pounds regularly
