* 4x10 schedule ~ Monday - Thursday * 2nd shift ~ 3:45PM - 2:15AM *
JOB SUMMARY
The Machine Operator I sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Uses computer-controlled equipment to select, position and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines. Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete simple tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and precision in all tasks.
- Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
- Operate various types of machines to produce parts conforming to print requirements, may include basic program adjustments to meet quality and schedule requirements
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
- Can simultaneously operate two or more machines when practical and necessary.
- Performs basic daily maintenance or checks for machines.
WHAT YOU OFFER ~
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-2 years’ industrial experience desired in production and quality control methods (ISO9001, AS9100 etc.) desired
- Previous experience in Lean Manufacturing implementation and production systems desired
- Must read/write/speak English fluently
- Computer skills (MS Office) and experience in ERP systems preferred
- Ability to read and follow work orders, set up data sheets, and measurement instructions
- Knowledge of hand tools and general inspection tools
- Detail oriented with good time management and organization skills
- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes
- Must be able to stand, stoop and lift to 40-50lbs

Pay range: $21-$23.50 per hour, plus $1.25 additional shift premium
