Job Title: Case Manager-Family Contact Program
Department: Family Wellness

General Functions:
The Case Manager is responsible for overseeing supervised family interactions within a safe, structured, and supportive environment for children and youth referred to CITC’s Family Contact Program by the Office of Children’s Services (OCS). This role includes scheduling and coordinating visitation between children in out-of-home placements and their biological parents, foster parents, extended family members, and other approved individuals. During these visits, the Case Manager provides direct supervision and offers parental coaching to support healthy family engagement and reunification efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

Coordinate family contact services by communicating with the visiting parent, foster parent, OCS, Tribal ICWA workers and other legal parties.

Support the development of the Family Contact Plan in partnership with the Protective Services Specialist at OCS by establishing behaviorally specific, short-term, and measurable goals to improve child well-being and adjustment.

Ensure organizational compliance by preparing and submitting monthly, quarterly, and annual statistical reports, including time study documentation.

Provide accurate and timely verbal and written feedback, as authorized to be released, to participants and OCS staff, ICWA Workers and other pertinent legal parties.
Job Specifications:

Proficient with computers: word processing, email communication, internet resourcing, spreadsheets, and case management systems.

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the social, health, educational, training, and cultural needs of the Alaska Native and American Indian community.
Minimum Core Competencies: CITC Values, Respectful Leadership, Professionalism, Emotional Intelligence, Problem Solving/Critical Thinking, Communication Skills.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Arts or Sciences in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement yearly.
