  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints.
  • Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to create detailed formwork drawings, plans, and schematics, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior designers and drafters, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the team.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements in formwork technology, and regulatory changes, incorporating best practices into design processes and methodologies.
  • Participate in project meetings, reviews, and presentations, communicating design concepts, progress updates, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing design processes, enhancing product quality, and maximizing efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in formwork design and engineering within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of formwork design principles, structural analysis, and building codes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality and innovative solutions.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in project management or leadership roles is preferred.
