Job Summary:
MOR PPM Inc. is seeking a Welder to join our on-going maintenance crew at AOR Bridgestone in Aiken, SC.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan, install, and repair all types of steel products in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes and industry standards. will be working on new and pre-existing structures.
- Must read and understand plans and specifications, including diagrams, prints, orthographic and isometric drawings. Visualize two dimensional drawings in three dimensions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 5 years experience welding and Fabricating.
Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:
- Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically via DocuSign
- May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
- Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
- Must have full range of motion consistent with age
- Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
- Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
- Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
- Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
