Position Title:                                     Warehouse Associate II

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Associate I is required to safely, accurately, and efficiently pick, move, count, label, and process orders.  This position varies and moves based on operational needs and may include picking orders, auditing orders, replenishing rack storage locations, packing, as well as, processing shipping orders.   

Essential Functions:

  • Utilize Radio Frequency (RF) scanners with the Warehouse Management System program.
  • Perform product counts to ensure order accuracy.
  • Utilize proper packing methods to minimize damage and maximize carton space usage.
  • Process orders for appropriate shipping method (UPS, FEDEX, LTL, etc.).
  • Follow and understand all safety expectations designated in the warehouse.
  • Maintain integrity of the warehouse by keeping areas clean of debris and product organized in their proper location.
  • Cultivate Invacare’s culture and values by promoting communication, teamwork, and respectful treatment of all individuals.
  • Safely operate a range of Material Handling Equipment including performing all pre-shift inspections, wearing personnel protective equipment, and following all safety procedures.
  • Perform various inventory handling tasks as assigned including loading/unloading trucks, picking orders, auditing orders, replenishing inventory to pick location and put-away locations, packing, applying labels and freight documents, processing small parcel orders, and receiving inventory.
  • Must be able to maintain quality, accuracy, and productivity standards.
  • Observe and report any damage (equipment, racks, or product) and any hazards immediately.
  • Complete all required training applicable to assigned position.
  • Exhibit positivity, flexibility, creativity and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience of safely using Material Handling Equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Flexible to work overtime with little or no notice.
  • Warehouse Management System experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Must demonstrate a professional attitude toward work and co-workers.
  • Must have the physical ability and manual dexterity necessary to perform the duties pertaining to job.
