Job Description
Here's what you need to know:
Our Teacher Aides are members of our Elementary School team which support our instructional teammates by assisting both inside and outside of the classroom at key points throughout the school day and support with administrative tasks and special event set up so that our teachers can focus on supporting our students to achieve at the highest levels.
Here's what you'll be doing:
Logistics and Operational Support
Grade level support including but not limited to attendance supports, grading support, bulletin boards, copies and lesson material preparation
Tier 1 tech support and inventory management
Supporting with the maintenance and upkeep of shared spaces
Logistical support for student and family events
Classroom organization including but not limited to seat sacks, cubbies, tech, classroom decor and supply management
Creation of family communications and flyers
Provide support with family communication
Student and Instructional Support
Assist with classroom management and creating an environment that is appropriate for learning
Assist teachers with the planning, preparation, and implementation of differentiated instruction for individual students or groups
Provide support during culture blocks and whole school spaces such as breakfast, lunch, recess, free choice and dismissal
Student portfolio management and tracking

SKILLS
Proven written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Possession of a passionate and loving attitude toward all children
Responsiveness; Follow-up and follow-through with students, families, and faculty members is essential
Superb customer service skills and love and support for families and children
Commitment to do whatever it takes to ensure our teachers and students have what they need to be successful
ABILITIES

The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands:
On your feet in classrooms, cafeteria and outdoors.
Occasionally moving boxes and restocking supplies as needed.
Lifting and carrying of items of 10+ pounds

Must Haves:
Associate's Degree or a minimum of 48 university credit hours
Previous experience working with children recommended
