ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Prepare partnership federal and state tax returns.
  • Prepare trust federal and state tax returns.
  • Prepare small individual federal and state tax returns.
  • Prepare related estimated tax returns.
  • Prepare annual franchise and license tax returns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE                                   

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 2+ years of related experience and/or training.
  • Experience with Federal and Multi-State income taxes, partnership and individual income taxes, and some public accounting in tax preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to determine the appropriate action.
  • Process management skills.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook E-mail and the Internet.
  • Ability to learn and utilize additional software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated reliability in attendance and work performance.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS  

  • CPA License preferred.

REQUIRED TESTING

  • Microsoft Excel
