Description

The Supply Chain Analyst/Contract Specialist will be responsible for

  • performing comprehensive and detailed data analytics to support strategic decision making with regards to both value analysis and contract management/compliance.
  • Will support the Contract Manager, the Sourcing/Purchasing Team, and the Director of Supply Chain to ensure Meritus is in compliance with executed contracts. The Specialist will be an integral member of the Value Analysis Team and all projects related to Supply Chain.
  • (S)He will be responsible for reviewing GPO contracts, GPO contract price activations, completing a cost analysis identifying the opportunity related to contract commitment and financial impact in a timely manner based on the GPO contract launch dates. 
  • Will complete analysis, including financial cost analysis identifying opportunities for Meritus Health including the non-acute departments. The SC Analyst/Contract Specialist also supports the Supply Chain Director in implementation of strategic plans which align with Meritus Health executive strategy and transformation.

Education – Bachelor's Degree in related field to business/data analytics required. Equivalent work experience demonstrating equivalent expertise will also be acceptable. Master's degree preferred.

Experience – 3+ years prior experience as an analyst in healthcare, supply chain, or group purchasing organization is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesMust have excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a high degree of accuracy in regards to statistical reports. Knowledge/expertise in healthcare supply chain contracting and contract management as well as contracting terminology. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have effective team work skills and effective problem-solving ability. Must possess strong computer skills with a high degree of competency in Word, Excel, Access, etc.
