Description

Looking to advance your career in software development? CoVantage Credit Union, an over $3 billion financial institution, is seeking a Senior Software Developer to work with a creative and exciting team on software development projects per credit union standards. This individual will primarily focus on digital systems such as mobile, online banking, and staff facing systems. A heavy emphasis will be on software architecture and API management/API lifecycle as we look to advance our capabilities with external fintech services.

As a CoVantage team member, you’ll receive a 401k employer match of up to 200%, a bonus of annual salary up to 4%, a generous employer HSA contribution, and paid time off for community service. This is a fully remote position; however, the employee must reside in Wisconsin, Michigan, or Illinois. 

Job Duties

  • Particular focus will be on critical digital systems such as mobile and online banking as well as staff facing systems
  • Mentors others on development approaches and the various systems in the credit union
  • Leads development across all systems, databases and the full stack of development languages and technologies
  • Designs software with good architectural principles
  • Integrates internal and external fintech solutions with API development and API management
  • Works with business units with clear communication of status of requests, projects, or other technical needs
  • Coordinates and manages all work with business stakeholders and ensures business requirements are met by an early, and often feedback loop
  • Keeps abreast of new technology and industry developments and embraces a continuous learning philosophy to approaching work 

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in software development or Bachelor’s degree in computer related major or equivalent experience
  • Experience on various sizes of software projects and across the full stack of current and legacy technologies
  • Software development experience with .NET, C#, T-SQL, Java Script, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, and scrum
  • REST and SOAP API services and API lifecycle design practices
  • Unit test and automated testing frameworks
