Job Description

Our Company is growing and is seeking a motivated and experienced bilingual Safety Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position must enjoy working with people and helping employees.

Responsibilities

  • Will provide leadership via the Company's culture and values.
  • Conduct Safety Orientation and training.
  • Improve corrective and preventive actions for incidents/accidents.
  • Conduct field audits.
  • Investigate and translate incidents and accidents.
  • Promote safety culture through open communications with all employees.
  • Identify and implement changes to reduce hazards and risks.
  • Conduct investigations and monitor implementation on safety compliance according to the regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with OSHA 300 logs and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Worker's Compensation and Insurance claims are preferred but not required.
  • Assist with DOT filings and regulations.
  • Perform other assignments as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  • 2 plus years of experience. Industry-relevant knowledge of standards and compliance safety rules.
  • Bi-lingual is required.
  • Able to effectively deliver empowering public presentations to all levels in the organization.
  • Exceptional communication both verbally and written.
  • Knowledge of OSHA reporting requirements and verification of OSHA 300 logs.
  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of Safety-related equipment and DOT regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency.
  • Willing to complete a pre-employment screening which includes a drug screen.
