Job Summary:
We are seeking a General Psychiatrist to join our team at ERC Pathlight, a leading mental health care system dedicated to the treatment of eating disorders and primary mood, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders. In this role, you will provide compassionate care to individuals with eating disorders at our Eating Recovery Center in Sacramento, California.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a clinical professional on a team of exceptional clinicians, collaborating to make a real impact in the lives of patients
- Work closely with all disciplines to ensure top-notch care for patients
- Provide direct patient care for child and adolescent ages (caseload of 18 patients per week) and adult ages (caseload of 21 patients per week)
- Conduct required patient contacts with documentation (2 per week)
- Dedicate 25 hours per week to direct patient care, with the remainder focused on treatment planning, collaboration, professional development, and training
- Treat patients aged 8-18 years for child and adolescent cases and 16+ for adult patients
- Lead team-based admission assessments for up to 2 patients per day, with pre-screening done by the admission team
- Follow a Monday-Friday onsite schedule with a week-long home call rotation every 5-8 weeks

- Practice evidence-based, high-quality psychiatric medicine to deliver superior patient care

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Completion of a psychiatric residency and Child and Adolescent fellowship or Adolescent Medicine Fellowship from an accredited residency program
- Board eligibility in the appropriate specialty (board certification preferred)
- Eating disorder experience is welcomed but not required, as weekly supervision and support will be provided for case conceptualization and treatment planning
