Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager on the Enterprise AI/ML team, you will be responsible for defining the long-term vision, creating the roadmap, and prioritizing executing our Enterprise AI/ML data products. This is an exciting opportunity to help us design and develop data products that let our business stakeholders use and make sense of their data. End-users of these products will be all Procore business users - subject matter experts, decision-makers, and analysts alike - so you will be working with stakeholders from across the enterprise to align everyone on the vision, define requirements, and set priorities. You will partner with other product managers to support the complete vertical pipeline from raw data to UI presentation on various platforms. We are looking for a passionate Product Manager to join the team in building a platform to make interacting with key business data fast, simple, and painless for Procorians.

The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about building and enabling business value through data and platform experiences and is adept at applying product management best practices to developing data products. You are energized by the opportunity to build brand-new experiences for internal business users that help them make decisions and excel in pursuing their goals. You enjoy collaborating with other product managers to deliver a unified vision to stakeholders. You will bring your expertise in AI/ML, data, and platforms and guide in data strategy and building road mapping with a commitment to creating empowering user experiences. You have honed your communication skills with designers, stakeholders, and engineers.

This position will report to our Director, AI/ML Data Products. It can be based in our Austin, TX office. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the definition, design, and delivery of data products within the Enterprise AI/ML while leveraging your aptitude to understand data capabilities and apply strategic thinking to make positively impactful decisions for our stakeholders

  • Work and understand the needs of various business functions and connect them to new and existing initiatives to maximize the realization of value

  • Own the vision and create buy-in for our data products vision across the enterprise - aligning a diverse group of stakeholders around the vision for Enterprise AI/ML.

  • Gain a deep understanding of end-user needs and experience, identify and fill product gaps, and generate new ideas that grow adoption and improve user experience

  • Work closely with our agile, technical data team (engineers, developers, analysts, data scientists) to deliver product features with quick time-to-deployment and optimal resources

  • Drive product launches, including working with the program team, the data and engineering teams, executives, and end-user team members

  • Set and achieve success metrics to meaningfully improve business results, focusing on what success looks like for our internal data consumers and how Enterprise AI/ML could help them achieve their goals

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years experience in product management, preferably with experience building AI/ML, data, and analytics products through a platform-oriented approach

  • Strong understanding of foundational data and AI/ML concepts, with a demonstrated ability to translate business needs into creative solutions

  • Experience working with data teams (data engineers, data scientists, software developers, data analysts, etc.), product designers, business stakeholders and end-users

  • Proficiency with software development methodologies such as Agile and experience working with Scrum teams and working with Agile software development tools such as Jira

  • Proficiency with the modern data warehouse and platform stack that supports and scales petabytes of data daily across hundreds of users that have varying levels of exposure to technology

  • Experience or exposure to predictive analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence and their applications for creating insights and experiences that enrich business processes

  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful SaaS product throughout the lifecycle with experience and understanding of business goals in a modern SaaS company with experience in launching brand new products.
