Wage range: $17.00 per hour to $19.00 per hour (OR annually if salaried role)
Your Impact
- Wash, peel, chop, slice, and dice various food items as per the recipes and kitchen standards.
- Measure and portion ingredients accurately.
- Prepare sauces, marinades, and other components.
- Monitor and maintain the freshness of ingredients in storage.
- Rotate food items to minimize waste.
- Notify the kitchen manager or chef when supplies are running low.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Store ingredients properly, labeling and dating items as needed.
- Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils in good working condition.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Follow proper handwashing and hygiene practices.
- Monitor and report any food safety concerns to the kitchen manager.
- Ensure that ingredients are prepared in a timely manner to meet the demands of the kitchen.
- Assist in cleaning and sanitizing workstations and equipment.
- Properly dispose of kitchen waste and recycling.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
What you will need
- ServSafe® Certification and State Food Handlers Card
- Successful candidates must meet eligibility criteria, including the ability to undergo and successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screen in accordance with applicable State laws and regulations.
- Ability to provide documents for work authorization. We utilize E-Verify, an online system that allows us to confirm the eligibility of our employees to work in the United States.
- High School Diploma/GED
