Job Description
Manage the daily operations of the practice including patient scheduling/registration, medical records, data entry, cash posting, daily bank deposit activity, office maintenance and computer systems, clinic workflow and daily tasking assignments.
Supervise and develop all medical office personnel to ensure maximum efficiency in practice operations including staff selection, onboarding/training, scheduling, overtime control, and other personnel related activity to include coaching/counseling and terminations.
Create and maintain positive practice work environment/culture in collaboration with practice partner
Ensure practice is providing the appropriate level of patient service including the resolution of patient concerns/issues.
Management of practice RCM process from patient registration to payment of claim in conjunction with IDG RCM team
Management of ordering and inventory processes to ensure appropriate par levels and prevent excess or unnecessary spending
Manage, implement and maintain and ensure compliance with all office policies and procedures.
Oversee compliance related activity in conjunction with IDG Compliance Team
Assist in business development and growth strategies for the practice to include management of practice website, social media programs as well as any advertising the practice opts to do
Provide additional administrative support to the physician partner and all practice providers through the completion of assigned tasks and fulfillment of requests.
Physical plant/coordination of general maintenance of the office.
Qualifications
Exceptional communication skills.
Strong desire to provide exceptional customer service to patients of the practice
Effective personnel management including training of staff, scheduling and delegating duties.
Thorough knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, MIPS and other relevant medical practice regulations.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel).
Hands on approach to team building and willingness to work hard.
Job Type:
Full-time: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (on site)
Experience:
3-5 years of experience as an Office/Practice Manager in a medical office setting.
Experience in Dermatology, preferred but not required.
Experience with medical software and knowledge of medical billing and coding process.
Proven experience building office culture and cross functional teams to enhance patient experience and practice growth.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but will consider diploma/Associates Degree with min of 3-5 yrs full scope relevant experience
