Dietary Office Assistant

We are seeking to hire a Dietary Office Assistant.
- $15.30 - $17.00 per hour based on circumstances including skills, qualifications, degrees and certifications, prior job experience, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
- Full-Time; 8am to 4pm plus Every Other Weekend is required.
Dietary Office Assistant Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Administrative experience required.
- Food service experience preferred.
Dietary Office Assistant Job Summary:
The Dietary Office Assistant is responsible for maintaining and updating resident dietary records, printing meal tickets and production totals, answering phones and any office duties associated with resident meal service.
Dietary Office Assistant Responsibilities:
- Data entry of meal choices.
- Print and collate meal tickets, production sheets, snack labels, choice menu list, etc.
- Maintain all records in dietary menu program including but not limited to: processes diet changes, admissions, discharges, room changes, updates dietary menu program related to food choices, enters monthly weights, etc.
- Answer phones and processes requests.
- Order supplies, maintain records, filing, typing and other general office duties.
- Update posted lists including: thickened liquid list, adaptive equipment list, no alcohol list, etc.
- Communicate and collaborate with health care professionals involved in resident-centered care.
- Meaningfully interact and enrich the resident/guest experience.
- Communicate with coworkers as team approach to provide excellent meal service experience.
- Perform other food service tasks under the direction of supervisor including helping with meal service in case of staff shortages.
- Complete Food Handlers Training course as required and upon renewal every three years.
- Comply with annual immunization requirements (TB test, flu vaccination).
