Manual Machinist

Compensation: 25.00-37.00 / Hourly

Our client, a nationwide leader in commercial manufacturing, has an immediate need for an experienced Manual Machinist, to join their winning team in Northampton.

Our candidate of choice will play a vital role in our manufacturing operations by utilizing your skills to produce high-quality components. You will be essential to our mission of delivering timely and accurate services that meet our customers’ needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:

• Journeyman level manual machinist or equivalent
• Must be able to independently setup and operate manual lathes, milling machines, drill press, etc.
• Read/understand technical drawings and tolerancing
• Tool grinding & sharpening experience necessary
• Experience in a job shop machining environment desired (fast paced, custom manufacturing setting)
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision and direction
• Overtime will be required as needed to accommodate customer demands.
