Creativity. Innovation. A desire to effect positive change. That’s what it takes to work at Fuss & O’Neill – because that’s what we do for the client at which we work: we create, innovate, and design long-lasting improvements. Quality of life is also important on the job, so we’ve prioritized work-life balance by offering flexible/remote work opportunities, part-time benefits, and generous PTO. We believe that each day is an opportunity to support one another, to support our clients, and to support our communities. If you feel the same, then you’ve found your future.

Fuss & O’Neill Manufacturing Solutions is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Professional to work as part of a team to provide technical support to improve the productivity and reliability of production equipment and processes. In this role you will work with clients to assess the reliability of their equipment, collect data, and analyze conditions that affect equipment, and lead cross-functional teams to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and effectiveness of the maintenance program. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating machine-specific maintenance procedures, create/maintain computerized maintenance systems, and support client operational improvements through focused workshops and ongoing onsite support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage computer-based maintenance management processes following industry best practices while supporting program sustainability.
  • Conduct equipment condition assessments using thermography, ultrasound, or other predictive tools and interpret results to drive improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance and skills-development support to management and maintenance personnel to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and improve equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate maintenance best practices into new projects, processes, and designs.
  • Stay current on emerging health and safety trends, regulations, and technologies to ensure continuous improvement.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a related field; advanced education may be considered in lieu of experience.
  • Pursuing professional certification such as CMRP, CRL, or similar industry credentials preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective education programs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
