COLSA Corporation is seeking candidates for Senior Acquisition Logisiticians in support of a USAF contract.
Position openings may be available at Wright Patterson AFB, OH; Warner Robins, GA; Hill AFB, UT; and/or Tinker AFB, OK.
This position will provide support to the program in areas such as:
Assist with the planning, managing, and coordinating the total cradle-to-grave life cycle logistics support for assigned weapon systems or subsystems, integrating separate functions of supply, maintenance, procurement, and quality assurance into logistics activities required to sustain the system fielding
Perform various tasks related to the planning, development, implementation and management of a comprehensive, affordable and effective systems support strategy
Provide assistance to sustainment teams through data analysis, acquisition management, procurement, and other associated logistics data of critical assets, insurance spares, tooling, and related parts and material.
Provide assistance to the development and maintenance of Post Production Support Plans (PPSP), Post Production Transition Plans (PPTP), and Transition to Post Production (TPP) and shall develop and execute requirements in phased strategies for PPTP and TPP.
Apply knowledge and experience in acquisition logistics philosophy, policies and procedures to Air Force systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement activities, post award project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles.
Assist in planning, organizing, and managing critical aspects of the development, production, and/or deployment of capabilities utilizing DoD, USAF, and local logistics policies, procedures, and functionalities, and financial data requirements of acquisition logistics disciplines.
Coordinate all logistics elements including but not limited to spares, upport Equipment(SE), training, facilities, technical data, and provisioning to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for the program are identified and tailored
Assists in developing integrated support requirements for system and equipment design; developing support requirements that are related to readiness objectives and design; conducting specialized analyses on total life cycle cost, logistics supportability, and warranty; and providing technical assistance and consultant expertise
Assists in the performance of any related tasks that provide the capability to evaluate support alternatives, perform trade-off analyses between support concepts and between support, design, and operational concepts
Develops Life Cycle Cost Management (LCCM) and/or Design-To-Cost (DTC) program, perform operating and support cost analyses, and/or develop a probable cost estimate
Identifies military and civilian personnel requirements with the skills and grades needed to operate and support a weapon system and equipment over its lifetime at peacetime and wartime rates
Accomplish TDM and analyses, write reports, recommend actions, or perform any related tasks that provide logisticians the capability to acquire, store and manage in a timely, efficient, cost-affordable manner, the recorded information needed to translate system and equipment design requirements into discrete engineering and logistics considerations, and manage a TO/technical data library
Assist in identify requirements for flight manuals resulting from safety issues, aircraft modifications, different equipment configurations, operational requirements, etc

Required Experience
One of the following combinations of education/experience:
MA/MS degree, and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoD -OR-
BA/BS degree, and fifteen (15) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD -OR-
HSD/GED, twenty (20) years of directly related experience, eight (8) of which must be in the DoD.
U.S. Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security clearance at the required level
