Seeking "2" Manufacturing/Industrial Engineers for positions in the Chambersburg, PA and Hagerstown, MD areas.
Each manufacturer is seeking the ME/IE to do the following:
--Lead Capital Improvement Projects (handle 3-5 projects at a time)
--Be involved in all Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing initiatives (Lead Kaizen events in areas of 5S, TPM, Standard Work, Set-up Reduction/SMED, etc) (Get involved with daily lean activities of improving quality, cost, delivery and safety metrics)
--Re-layout work areas/conduct time studies to improve productivity, safety, and quality
--Work on reducing inventories and improving turns
DESIRED Skills and Experience:
--Companies prefer a 4-year degree in Engineering but would consider a 2-year technical degree or other 4-year degree with relevant experience
--Working experience with Lean manufacturing and leading CI projects
--Strong communicator with all levels of workers
--Prefer individuals with 2-7 years of experience (Pay depends of experience)
Targeted Pay for Jobs: 75k-100k (DOE)
