The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning all guest rooms and facilities at the JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery Chimney Rock location. This person is essential in maintaining our cleanliness standards to ensure guests have an amazing experience when visiting. 

This position will be based at our Chimney Rock facility (11680 Chimney Rock Road, Paso Robles.) The schedule is Wednesday - Sunday (11:00 AM - 7:30 PM). The person in this role must have a flexible work schedule and be available to work weekends/evening shift.

Job Description

• Responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, safe, and attractive for our guests
• Performs daily cleaning duties of all guest and public areas (suites, common areas, restrooms, foyers, stairwell, walkways) such as vacuuming, sweeping, dusting and mopping to maintain high-quality standards
• Prioritizes the comfort and cleanliness of the JUST Inn rooms such as cleaning surfaces, dusting, pulling linens and flipping mattresses
• Takes action on housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests such as providing ironing boards, hairdryers, rollaway beds, toiletries, hangers, firewood, etc.
• Maintains cleaning equipment in good condition
• Communicates with the Housekeeping Supervisor and Housekeeping team to replenish supplies and stock storerooms
• Properly cleans and removes spots from room walls, doors and furniture 
• Conducts turndown service for the Inn guests
• Supports with restaurant set-up such as ironing tablecloths, linens and clothing as needed
• Follows all safety standards and procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English or Spanish, conversational Spanish skills preferred
• Must possess a valid license with an acceptable driving record
• Must learn, follow, and enforce standards of cleanliness
• Ability to work well independently and with a team on daily duties
• Must be able to perform basic calculations; add, subtract and divide
• Ability to utilize an 8-hour work day to its fullest potential
• Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
• Recognize and act in an emergency or high-stress situations with the ability to follow all safety procedures/standards

Pay Range: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
