Job Title:Legal Counsel / Associate Corporate Counsel (Litigation and Investigations)
Location:New York, NY
Description:Leading global IT consulting firm with over 400,000 associates in more than 45 countries seeks an in-house counsel experience in commercial litigation and internal investigations to join a growing legal department.   
Primary responsibilities:
•Assisting in the management of any and all commercial disputes, litigations, arbitrations, and investigations towards cost-effective resolutions
•Responding to subpoenas, civil investigative demands, and similar information requests
•Managing regulatory and compliance issues in a variety of subject areas, including data security, export controls, and immigration 
•Coordinating discovery, including document collection and production 
•Overseeing and managing outside counsel as needed
•In conjunction with the labor and employment team, assisting in the management of employment disputes, litigations, and arbitrations 
•Assisting with special projects as may be assigned 
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
•J.D. or equivalent from an accredited U.S. law school
•Admission to practice law in New York state, or the ability to promptly register as in-house counsel within the State 
•Three to six years’ experience with complex commercial litigation or governmental investigations at a major law firm, corporate law department, or governmental agency
•Experience overseeing and managing internal investigations 
•Strong negotiation and presentation skills
•Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
•Ability to perform independently as well as part of a team  
•Familiarity with legal issues affecting a global corporation, particularly within the IT consulting industry
•Prior experience with U.S. labor and employment matters a plus
