What You’ll Do

We are looking for a talented Communications & Content Manager, responsible for producing and publishing engaging and high-quality content to our company intranet and external website.

The ideal candidate should have 4-6 years of relevant communications and content experience, particularly as it relates to employee engagement platforms. They should be a nimble thinker with a keen sense for storytelling, able to create content that engages audiences, fosters a positive company culture, and supports organizational initiatives. This position reports to our VP, Strategic Communications.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manages Internal/External Communications initiatives designed to support key business objectives, long-term goals and projects. Educates staff on new initiatives, messages, goals and projects determined by senior management via the company intranet.
  • Develop and maintain intranet and website editorial calendar, ensuring consistent content publication across key areas of organizational interest
  • Source and develop engaging, compelling, and informative content including articles, announcements, and other written materials
  • Partner with team leaders to develop, edit, and enhance content, following brand guidelines to ensure the quality and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with designers and multimedia professionals to create visually appealing and impactful content, including infographics, images, and videos
  • Expand storytelling opportunities by developing innovative ways to deliver news and information (graphical, video, audio, etc.)
  • Manage the publication process on our company intranet, accurately uploading, categorizing, and making content easily accessible to employees
  • Partner with our IT department for the publication of web content
  • Maintain existing content on the intranet, ensuring timely updates and archiving of outdated information
  • Conduct thorough research to gather information, data, and insights on relevant topics. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and internal news to create relevant and engaging content.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of published content, gathering insights on engagement, readership, and feedback. Use data-driven insights to continuously improve content strategies

Who You Are

As an ideal candidate, you’ll possess:

  • Proven experience in content creation in a corporate / internal communications setting
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Familiarity with intranet platforms, employee engagement tools and content management systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and prioritize projects effectively
  • A self-motivated and proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team 

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with 4-6 years of internal communications and content development experience
  • Experience working across multiple business units with varied priorities and goals
  • Capable of analyzing usage and engagement data and preparing recommendations and strategies
  • A supporter of an advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion

Salary Range

$100,000.00 - $120,000.00

A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity.
