The Opportunity

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for launching precision aerospace components into production.  This role will be responsible for understanding complex product engineering requirements and the processing required to meet those requirements.

Additionally, the Senior Manufacturing Engineer will:

  • The creation and execution of detailed processing and inspection plans
  • Development of established and advanced manufacturing process technologies
  • Writing CNC programs for turning, milling, and grinding processes
  • Specification and acquisition of process machinery, tooling, gages, and packaging
  • Working with production and quality team members for a safe and on-time launch
  • Problem solving of manufacturing processes including CNC programs and quality issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience with machining processes. Alternatively, candidates with a relevant associates degree and at least 4 years of practical experience may be considered
  • Thorough understanding of detailed engineering drawings and specifications
  • Competent in the interpretation of GD&T requirements and inspection methodologies
  • CNC programming experience is required
  • An interest in gas turbine engine manufacturing
  • U. S. citizenship is required
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U. S.
