The assistant / associate pastor will be responsible for various aspects of ministry, including preaching and teaching in Cantonese Chinese for adults, leading weekly English speaking youth fellowship bible study, pastoral care ministry to the congregation, pastoral care, and outreach to the community.

Position Title: Assistant / Associate Pastor
Position Status: Full-time
Accountability: Lead Pastor
Principle Function: Preaching and Teaching, Pastoral Care, Worship Leadership, Outreach and Community Engagement, Discipleship, Leadership Development and Ministry Coordination.
Other Responsibilities: various administrative tasks and other ministry tasks assigned by Lead Pastor
Qualifications
1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9
Have a clear testimony of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ
Graduate from an accredited seminary of Evangelical Faith with a master degree of divinity (MDiv) or master degree of theology (ThM).
Doctrinally align with our statement of faith, vision, mission, and core values of Skywalk Bible Church.
A team player with servant leadership.
Be loyal, dependable, and accountable to leadership and ministries of the church.
Able to speak fluent Cantonese Chinese and English.
Preferred minimum of 2 years of job experience.
