Description

Maintenance Electrician - Pay up to $38.50/hr., plus $1.00 shift differential for Off-shift

Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Electrician to be based out of Hobart, IN. Reporting to Maintenance Manager, this person will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all plant electronic equipment.

What you’ll do:

Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient workplace by following all 5S Standard.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing tubing mills, cut to length, slitting, forklifts, overhead cranes, banding/packaging equipment.
  • Align, adjust, and calibrate electronic equipment.
  • Install electrical circuits following blueprints & schematic diagrams.

What you’ll bring:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of Electrical Maintenance experience.
  • Extensive experience in industrial electronics, motors, interpreting schematics, power systems (AC and DC), and testing equipment; extensive knowledge on predictive and preventive maintenance.
  • Flexibility to work 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift; availability to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (as required).

Within 3 months, you’ll:

  • Be troubleshooting, installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide variety of electrical systems and machinery, while referencing and interpreting control schematics.
  • Be providing assistance to Operations as needed; and effectively working alone or with a team.
  • Have working knowledge of all facility equipment.
  • Actively completing PM tasks on all facility equipment.
  • Be comfortable be working in conditions which could be hot, cold, dirty, dusty, greasy, wet, and noisy.
