Position Overview:
Provide specialized surgical support for pediatric procedures in a Level I trauma center and academic medical environment. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal outcomes for pediatric patients across complex specialties.

Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology program
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of recent OR experience (within the last 4 years) in:
Acute care facilities comparable to Level 1 trauma centers or teaching hospitals
Specialty areas such as orthopedics, neurosurgery, trauma, vascular, ENT, bariatric, GU, and GYN
Pediatric experience is preferred
Scrub experience is required.
Technical Skills:
Complex pediatric scrub procedures
Sterile field maintenance
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare/sterilize instruments for pediatric surgeries
Anticipate surgeon needs during complex procedures
Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection protocols
Handle specialized pediatric surgical equipment
Assist in trauma, orthopedic, and neurosurgical cases
Coordinate specimen management and documentation
