We are seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer / Administrator to support the Navy Chief of Information (CHINFO). The primary place of performance will be onsite at CHINFO Headquarters (Pentagon, Arlington, VA).  Telework, as needed, may be authorized by the Government.  An active SECRET clearance is required prior to start.

The CHINFO leads Navy-wide Public Affairs strategy, execution, and assessment. Due to growth in demands, the Navy requires support to better understand and lead in today’s connected communication environment. This requirement supports Navy-wide Public Affairs strategy, execution, and assessment.

The Senior SharePoint Developer / Administrator performs as an individual or part of a team in the execution of Planning, Integration and Alignment of Communication Strategies and Tactics; Communication Monitoring and Assessment; and, Communication Plans and Products/Capabilities

Primary Responsibilities of this position are:

  • Develop requirements specifications, master pages, workflows, user controls, and web parts based on data collection and gathering.
  • Understand and document current business processes and procedures and identify areas for improvement.
  • Research and recommend solutions that can be implemented as SharePoint technologies for a Navy PA-wide enterprise management system.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or Management of Information Systems preferred).
  • At least 10 years’ experience in business process analysis, knowledge management solutions, user interface development, and business logic development.    
  • At least 5 years’ experience in SharePoint and InfoPath/PowerApps products along with experience support a Microsoft software development environment.  
  • At least 3 – 5 years’ experience with cascading style sheets and HTML to troubleshoot issues within SharePoint.
  • Strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and have proven writing skills.
  • Ability to work on a team dedicated to achieving excellence for the government client.
  • Self-starter with proven and documented success in completing objectives under challenging conditions. 
  • An Active SECRET clearance.
  • Ability to daily commute to the government HQ Monday-Friday.
