Can-Tech Services is looking for a Assembly Supervisor for its Tier 1 Automotive client in the Vaughan area. This is a great opportunity with a Multinational company who is highly regarded in the industry:
Details of the opportunity:
Permanent position including above industry standard benefits, group benefit 100% premium paid by company, RRSP DPSP matching.
Afternoon shift (3:30pm – 12am)
OT paid after 40 hours
Pay range $25 – $35/ Hour
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate manufacturing activities
Inspect materials and processes to maintain organizational standards
Lead and drive 5S and Lean initiatives
Training new workers and established work force
Ensure equipment maintenance is up to date
Work cohesively with other departments to achieve organizational targets
Qualifications:
5 years experience as a supervisor within automotive or manufacturing
Experience within a Assembly environment, preferably including automation
Experience within sheet metal fabrication environment
Knowledge of estimating costs of metal jobs
Health & Safety Certified
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial engineering.
