The Salesperson is responsible for improving and promoting the sales of Gulf Distributing Co of Alabama products through personal selling efforts and regular contact with owners, managers, and retailers for each assigned account.
Duties & Responsibilities
Keep equipment and vendors clean.
Place product on hand truck or dolly (approximately 20 to 50 lbs per case).
Pushes/pulls hand truck to machine or shelves and loads appropriate products. (Volume will vary per account and will range from 1 case to over 500 at any given time).
Must climb in and out of vehicle regularly and use proper lifting techniques.
Perform promotional events on site to promote sales.
Other duties assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications
3 years Hospitality experience
1 year sales experience preferred
Self starter with the ability to manage others efficiently and effectively
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Outgoing personality and social skills
Ability to work late nights when needed
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
