Summary:
The Product Manager is focused on driving product innovation, aligning product evolution with market demands, managing product lifecycles, and maintaining competitiveness and relevance in the metal building components industry. The Product Manager will be responsible for delivering ideas aligned with business cases, boosting customer satisfaction, establishing top-tier product management standards, fostering innovation, anticipating market shifts to minimize reactive responses, and transitioning towards a proactive approach in product development.
Core Functions:
• Conducts thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings, gathering data from internal and external sources to inform product strategies.
• Creates comprehensive and detailed roadmaps for each product within the company's portfolio, outlining changes, modifications, and evolution plans for the coming years.
• Manages the entire product lifecycle, from conception to retirement, by assessing market dynamics, recommending additions or removals from offerings, while ensuring product relevance and profitability.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and other teams to align product strategies with company objectives, ensuring buy-in and support for product initiatives.
• Evaluates and prioritizes product initiatives based on business case development, market reviews, and alignment with company and customer value, while ensuring proper resources are allocated to high-impact projects.
• Drives innovation by identifying and conceptualizing new products, features, or enhancements that address evolving customer needs, ensuring the company stays ahead of market demands.
• Develops and executes strategic plans for product evolution, considering industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive positioning to maintain the company's market relevance.
• Analyzes data and metrics to optimize product performance and customer satisfaction and establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of product initiatives.
• Effectively communicates product strategies, updates, and changes internally and externally, and provides necessary training and support to sales teams and other stakeholders.
• Fosters a culture of continuous improvement by gathering feedback, learning from product iterations, and adapting strategies to respond to market shifts and evolving customer preferences.

Education & Experience:
Minimum Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field and five years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of experience in product management, strategy, analytics, or similar roles.
Preferred:
• CSPO Certification
• Three years of experience leading and managing teams.
• Three years of experience managing complex projects.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Work is performed in an office environment. This role will routinely utilize standard office equipment to perform the core functions listed in this job description. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies as well as communicate verbally and electronically.
