Minimum Qualifications

Required:
Associates Degree from a regionally accredited institution in Heavy Equipment or related field with a minimum of 3 years related work experience
Creativity and openness to change
Strong computer skills and commitment to the use of technology in instruction
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively and collegially with others in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in a related field
Teaching experience in a community college
ASE Certified in Diesel and/or automotive field
Experience in a professional repair facility
Class A commercial driver’s license

Position Description

The Adjunct Faculty, Heavy Equipment  is a part-time position responsible for designing and implementing learning strategies for students; developing course syllabi and instructional materials; maintaining instructional records; maintaining a safe laboratory environment; communicating equipment, and supply needs; participating in College activities and committees; and other duties which support the mission and initiatives of the College.   This position reports directly to the Associate Dean, School of Business, Engineering and Technical Studies.
