Industrial Maintenance Technician – Electrical & Mechanical

Snider Fleet Solutions, a leading commercial tire dealer and retread provider, is hiring a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and repair equipment to minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

  • Electrical certification, mechanical or technical degree (preferred)
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance & repair (required)
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs, VFDs, ladder logic, motors (AC up to 480V and DC), contacts, and relays
  • Experience reading and interpreting electrical and pneumatic schematics; general maintenance knowledge of manufacturing equipment
  • Proficient with service equipment, hand tools, and diagnostic methods; welding and air compressor maintenance experience (strongly preferred)
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate to maximize equipment uptime
  • Experience with MS Office and ability to learn and use new software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn new responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain tire supplier equipment; ensure peak performance and quality
  • Perform preventative maintenance: inspections, cleaning, lubrication, diagnostics
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues to OEM specifications
  • Replace parts quickly to reduce downtime and restore functionality
  • Keep accurate work logs, maintenance records, and inspection reports
  • Support Retread and TRACS departments as needed
  • Manage inventory levels and order replacement parts
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, gantry cranes, man lifts, and hoists
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; follow all PPE and safety rules
  • Work a flexible schedule with overtime and some weekend shifts as needed
