Overview

Element has an opportunity for an Business Operations Manager. In this role you will be reporting to the General Manager and perform a variety of leadership responsibilities within the assigned location to insure timely and accurate test results are delivered to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all facets of the order entry, planning, certification, & shipping/receiving processes are providing an optimum customer service level
  • Leads the local sales process; including qualifying, relationship building, needs evaluation, solution development , process sales invoices, quoting and provide status report to clients & work with departments to resolve complaints
  • Actively utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to lead record activities, ensuring contact details are accurate, duplicates are removed, new information is added and accurate call / visit logs are entered
  • Achieve location sales goals by converting and penetrating accounts & serve as the point of contact for issue-escalation between the labs, sales, and order entry department

Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Science is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an operations role overseeing scheduling, delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Proven ability to support and train staff members for the department in order to meet customers’ expectations on testing
  • Technical leadership is vital to the production and operation of assigned tests with advanced working knowledge to operate various testing equipment
  • Understanding of continuous improvement disciplines such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, etc.
