As a Program Director, you'll play a pivotal role in providing progressive and goal-oriented supports to individuals with developmental disabilities in the community. You'll have the opportunity to lead with compassion, creativity, and dedication, ensuring that our programs meet the unique needs of each individual.

WHAT DUNGARVIN OFFERS:

  • Starting salary range: $66,600 - $70,300/yr

Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • ·We offer activities on-site as well as outings and participation in local community events
  • · The Program Director will help create a lasting positive impact on people's lives and enjoy coaching, mentoring, and encouraging others to reach their goals
  • · Overall operations of the Day Program including developing and monitoring quality services, budgets, facility and financial responsibilities
  • · Community integration of the people we serve
  • · Ensuring customer satisfaction
  • · Hiring, training and overall supervision of staff
  • · Compliance with regulations, policies and procedures
  • · Development of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and the coordination of behavioral supports
  • · Collaboration with stakeholders and partners and the coordinating the services of consultants

Qualifications

MUST HAVE:

  • ·3 years Human services experience in the fields of intellectual/ developmental disabilities or mental health with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • ·2 years of Direct care experience or training in one of the following:
  •  In a licensed adult day program or an adult day health care facility.
  • ·Experience working with Community Care Licensing and knowledge of Title 22 and Title 17 regulations.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • ·Bachelor's degree in human services field (Psychology, Counseling, social work, Allied Health, Educational Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, etc.) with a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in Human Services Facility

HOURS:

  • ·Full-time schedule must have flexibility to accommodate program, individual, and staff needs
  • ·Ability to be on-call at all times during program operations unless prior arrangements have been made for someone of comparable authority to receive calls.
