ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking a dynamic Landscape Architect to join our Community Development Team in Schenectady, NY. Our landscape architecture studio offers a wide variety of commissions from downtown revitalization and streetscape improvement projects to higher educational and recreational facilities, public and private housing, transit oriented development and climate resiliency projects. This professional will be working with senior staff on the planning, design and technical documentation.
Applicants must be self-motivated and comfortable as a multidisciplinary team player, in a casual, open, working/studio environment. The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor, be detail-oriented, energetic and demonstrate excellent communication, organizational and people skills.
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program
- Typically requires 0-5 years' experience
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion and Adobe Suite.
- Ability to assist in production of construction document plan sets.
- Assistance with construction administration and production of 2D/3D graphics.
- Professional Landscape Architecture License not required.
