Your Career
Palo Alto Networks is looking for an experienced finance professional to join its FP&A team as a Finance Manager to help support HR and Workplace Resources in the G&A organization. We’re looking for a self-starter with strong analytical skills, an effective communicator, and a passionate leader looking to drive change in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
This role will be responsible for monthly forecasting/close, annual planning, ROI analysis, business partnering and providing analytics and insights into investments.
Your Impact
- Managing the monthly close process including PO accruals, reclasses and meeting SOX compliance requirements
- Partner with G&A leaders including HR and Workplace Resources to align business and financial goals
- Financial planning and forecasting activities that include participating in the annual planning process as well as driving the monthly and quarterly forecasting process - This would include OPEX, CAPEX, and headcount planning
- Strong understanding of CAPEX management and cash flow forecasting
- Partner closely with the business partners to understand timing of spend and resource requirements to drive accurate monthly forecast of expense and headcount
- Generate critical reporting, leveraging our systems and tools, that includes variance analysis, audit reports, metrics and other ad hoc analysis and reports to identify and communicate key trends, risks and opportunities
- Continuously explore enhancements and automation across our portfolio of reports and dashboards to expand knowledge and increase efficiency
- Analyzing the ROI on for real estate leases and Facilities and People investments
- Driving and supporting ad-hoc strategic and financial analyses
- Regular review of contractors and other operating expenses for optimization opportunities

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be between $114200 - $184800/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
