Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Material Handler Assistant will maintain warehouse stock, fulfill customer orders, and organize and maintain existing inventory.

Schedule:

2nd Shift - Monday-Thursday 1:55pm-12:25am

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Review raw material production schedules, pull material, and deliver to individual workstations.
Bring material back to be weighed
Maintains and organizes raw material inventory.
Pack products to ready them for shipments.
Moves goods interdepartmentally utilizing hand trucks and other material handling equipment.
Maintains and organizes finished product stock.
Operate Forklift within the facility to transport product.

SKILLS and ABILITIES

Solid interpersonal skills.
Time management/deadline-oriented.
Works well under pressure.
Ability to multi-task.
Computer skills.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Experience working with a MRP/ERP environment.
Hands-on experience with picking, packing, and inventory control.
Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping software.
Forklift Certified a plus, will train if needed.
Experience working with a Warehouse Management System a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Move/Lift/Carry up to 50 pounds.
Standing up to 8+ hours per day.
