Our client, a global steel manufacturer, has several openings for experienced Maintenance Mechanic, based in Portage, Indiana.

Our candidate of choice will have advanced industrial mechanical skills and the ability to work a rotating shift. We offer great benefits and tremendous room for growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain mechanical systems as required
• Trouble machines and mechanical equipment
• Trouble hydraulics and pneumatics
• Assist in capital projects and installations
• Ability to read blueprints
• Advanced hydraulic experience highly preferred
• Burning
• Welding
• Pneumatics
• Bearing
• Combustion

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 3 years’ experience in industrial maintenance.
• Experience with welding
• Experience working in heavy industry
• Experience with conveyors and automated machinery
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts rotating from days to nights week to week.
