Job Description

Our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) portfolio is a powerhouse collection of consumer-first brands, supported by media industry leaders, Comcast, NBCUniversal and Sky. The Director, Strategic Development works closely with the President of Peacock and EVP, Global Partnerships & Strategic Development, providing strategic support on Peacock initiatives and special projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the President to drive business impact and execute strategic priorities.
  • Support communications for President including:
    • Prepare briefings, talking points, and prep materials for internal and external meetings
    • Build or oversee the creation of internal/external Peacock presentations
    • Prepare written communications to key stakeholders including weekly executive email
  • Provide strategic input into the development and communication of Peacock’s quarterly and annual objectives and key results
  • Work cross functionally across Peacock and DTC Leads to support Peacock priorities including achievement of OKRs and financial targets
  • In partnership with the Peacock Partnerships & Strategic Development team, support the exploration and/or incubation of new business opportunities, investments, and partnerships
  • Lead quick-turn strategy and/or confidential projects, supporting asks from leadership as needed
  • Plan and help to facilitate Peacock Leads on-sites and working sessions 4+ times per year
  • Sit on the Executive Culture Committee and contribute to ideation and execution of culture initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional experience with 5+ years of pre/post-graduate work experience in a digital/streaming organization or at a management consulting firm, investment bank or related strategy team.
  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with well-developed planning and analytical skills.
  • A nimble thinker with the ability to think out-of-the-box and problem solve.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to support off-site events, both domestic and international
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and a global perspective.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience in technology, entertainment or media preferred
  • Graduate degree (e.g. MBA, JD) preferred
