.NET DEVELOPER:

Do you love building and developing programs? Do you enjoy working in a team environment? Do you enjoy setting others up for success? If you answered yes, we want to hear from you! The Pape’ Group Inc. is looking for a .NET Developer to join their team. If you are ready to make a career out of making a difference, then you are the person for this team!

At Pape’, you can count on us to heavily invest in your career through training, resources, and support. We want to see your career flourish, and in turn, provide excellent compensation, work-life balance, and benefits for you and your family. Come join our team!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

In this role, you will use a variety of technologies but there are two sides to development: UI (User Interface or client side) and BL (Business Logic or server side). In general, the UI-client consumes data from the BL web services and presents and accepts data input. Your job as our .NET Developer is to be proficient in both of these disciplines.

You will work with management and our internal .NET development team in an effort to modernize our systems via .NET C# web applications. This includes designing, building, and maintaining internal web applications, tooling and APIs using .NET, C#, MVC, and SQL Server. In these efforts, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine specifications and requirements based on business and technical needs. Furthermore, you will ensure that you deliver high-quality, clean, and maintainable code following industry best practices and our internal coding standards.

This is a full-time permanent development position. This position can be an in-house, remote, or hybrid position, but candidates must reside in one of the following states: Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Arizona, Alaska, Hawaii, Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, Georgia, or Texas.

WHAT YOU NEED:

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a .NET Web Developer, with at least 3 years of professional experience with .NET Framework, .NET 6, C#, SQL Server, Entity Framework, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, and Identity Framework.
  • Experience working with Cloud technologies (Azure and AWS).
  • Experience working with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and SVN.
  • Experience being highly productive while working on a remote team.
  • Understanding of OWASP security principles.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with software development tools like Swagger, SoapAM, and Postman.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Additional Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with software development frameworks and designs like Blazor, SOAP, WCF, and OpenAPI.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
  • Experience with COBOL.

Compensation: $120,000+/yr (Depending on Experience)

Why work for Pape’:
