Are you passionate about teaching and making a real impact? Arc Broward is looking for an enthusiastic Substitute Instructor to train and inspire our clients in our Workforce Development program.
As an Arc Works Trainer you will help participants successfully transition to work (become employed) and transition to wealth (join the economic mainstream). The goal of the program is to connect and empower individuals with disabilities in transforming their lives in economic self-sufficiency. The trainer position is the key position responsible for creating calendars and lesson plans for skills training, facilitating classroom instruction, and coordinating guest presentations. The role works closely with Arc Works and Arc Educates team members to ensure seamless support is provided to participants in and outside of the classroom. The trainer will educate and empower participants to strive for economic success and self-sufficiency.

What are the requirements?
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, behavioral science, education or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
Must successfully complete required screening: Level II background check, physical and drug screen
Prior experience working with people with disabilities.
1-3 years of related experience as an educator/trainer.
