Job Title: Service Director Location: Berman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram – Oak Lawn, IL Compensation: $125,000 - $175,000 per year
The Service Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Service Department, ensuring profitability, efficiency, and superior customer service. This involves managing a team of advisors, technicians, and support staff while implementing best practices to optimize workflow, quality control, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Service Department to ensure productivity, efficiency, and exceptional customer service
Oversee advisors, technicians, and support staff to maintain high levels of performance and morale
Drive profitability by managing department expenses, setting revenue goals, and implementing growth strategies
Monitor and enhance service processes to improve efficiency, turnaround time, and customer satisfaction
Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines, warranty policies, and dealership standards
Maintain high CSI scores by prioritizing quality service and customer communication
Train and mentor service staff to improve skills, performance, and professionalism

Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a Service Manager or Service Director role at a dealership (CDJR experience preferred)
Union experience strongly preferred
Proven track record of increasing service department profitability and efficiency
Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating large teams
Ability to analyze KPIs and implement strategies for continuous improvement
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
