ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Multi-Systemic Therapy Building Stronger Families (MST BSF)
This service, based upon a evidence-based treatment model, provides intensive family and community based treatment to families that have active cases with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) due to the physical abuse and/or neglect of a child in the family and due to the abuse of or dependence upon marijuana, cocaine, heroin, alcohol, or other substances by at least one caregiver in the family.
ABOUT THE POSITION: Outreach Therapist
Duties & Responsibilities
• Provides assessment and treatment interventions consistent with fidelity to MST-BSF model.
• Performs home and community based care
• Documents ongoing client progress and outcomes.
• Works with clients to develop appropriate discharge plans utilizing natural supports.
• Maintains collaborative relationships with family members, stakeholders, and other service
providers.
• Provides crisis assessment and intervention.
• Facilitates delivery of the weekly Social Club recovery support group intervention.
• Participates in all MST-BSF training, supervision and consultation activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master’s degree in mental health related field.
Experience: Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience as a psychotherapist working with people with mental illness and/or serious emotional disorders. Demonstrated training and experience in all aspects of mental health treatment, assessment, evaluation and provision of individual, group and family therapy. Relevant experience to program model to which individual is assigned
Licensure/Certification/Registration: LCSW, LMFT, LPC eligible; licensed preferred.

COMPENSATION*:
$60,496 minimum - $90,743 maximum, dependent upon experience
*Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based off of relevant experience, as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives. (Please note, for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
